About Us

GiGi Design began as an idea many years before it became a reality. With creative
minds and many years of artistic experience behind us we finally put the idea into
motion in 2002. We (Gail and Gretchen) are partners, and have found that we were
brought together in business for a very good reason. We were asked to work on a mural
at Trinity Bible Church where we both attended. Once we began working together on
the project it all seemed to flow so freely and our styles were so compatible. So much
that we decided to work on another room in the church, a Noah's Ark mural for the
toddler's nursery. From that day on we knew that we had found a way to fulfill our
passion for painting and to help others bring beauty and creativity into their world.

After taking numerous classes and having hands on instruction in faux finishing we
now specialize in today's most innovative and exciting wall treatments. No longer
do faux finishes mean just sponging or "hearts and bows" stencils, today's techniques
can bring depth and movement to your walls. Paint can mimic wood, stone, marble,
granite. The look of fabric such as linen, denim or moire' can also be captured. We can
help you achieve a soft, subtle look or fill a room with bold, contemporary flair.
We will work with you to get the look you want.

We are busy moms, Gail has two beautiful daughters Brittney and Carly and
Gretchen is the mother of three awesome children, Chris, Laina and Erik. Our
husbands , both named Michael, have been a huge support and encouragement
in helping us bring our dreams into reality.
